Getting started with VPNNT

Set up your account, plan, and subscription in order, then follow the import steps for your device. Finally, check that the connection works by visiting a site or app you use.

Create an account and save your login details

Open the “Free Trial” link below to go to the VPNNT user dashboard’s account creation page. Follow the instructions to choose a username and password. No email address is required. Your username will be used to sign in, so choose one that’s easy to recognize but doesn’t reveal your identity. Use a unique password and store it in a trusted password manager. Before submitting, check your entries for typos or extra spaces that could prevent you from signing in later.

Once your account is created, follow the prompts to open the user dashboard and check the username shown there. Use this account to manage your plan, get your subscription, and submit support tickets. If you already have an account, use the sign-in link in the navigation; there’s no need to create another account to add a device. VPNNT supports unlimited devices. You can use the same account subscription on your devices, but you’ll need to set up the client on each one.

Creating an account and activating a plan are separate steps. Being able to sign in doesn’t mean your subscription is ready to use. Next, check your plan details and the subscription status shown in the dashboard. The “Free Trial” button below takes you to the account page; check the page after opening it for details about what’s available.

Choose a plan and confirm your order

Open the Plans section in the user dashboard. Compare monthly subscriptions and data packages, then choose an allowance that suits how you use the service. Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB, for regular use. Monthly data resets on your activation date, not at the start of each calendar month. Check the subscription details in your dashboard to see when your data resets.

If your usage varies, compare the data packages: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. Each package remains available until used and never expires. Unlike a monthly subscription, a data package doesn’t reset or refill each month. Video streaming, file downloads, and everyday browsing use different amounts of data, so consider how you’ll use the service rather than comparing plan names alone.

After choosing a plan, check the amount, data allowance, and plan type again on the order confirmation page. Follow the prompts to pay using Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. When payment is complete, return to the dashboard and wait for the order status to update. Then check the account overview to confirm your subscription is active. If it’s still pending, check your order history instead of placing the same order again. For help, provide your order details through the dashboard’s support ticket page.

VPNNT offers a 14-day no-questions-asked refund. See the Terms of Service for instructions. If you’re on a monthly plan and want to upgrade, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Review the change shown in your dashboard before confirming. For full plan details, see Plans. This guide continues with how to get your subscription after activating a plan.

Get your subscription from the user dashboard

Once your plan is active, open the account overview and find the subscription details. The subscription link lets your client load routes and configuration; it isn’t a website URL or an installer download. If the dashboard offers a one-click import option for your client, use that first. If you’re prompted to choose an app, install the relevant client before returning to the dashboard to import.

To import manually, use the dashboard’s copy subscription option and keep the full link intact. Don’t copy just the domain or remove any parameters at the end. Clients may support different formats. If the dashboard offers format options, choose the one specified for your platform rather than pasting the same format into every app. This guide doesn’t show a real subscription URL; use only the link provided after signing in to your own dashboard.

Your subscription link is tied to your account. Don’t post it publicly or share screenshots that show the full link. If you need help troubleshooting, provide the client name, error message, and steps you took. Hide the subscription URL and account details in screenshots. After copying the link, install a client on your device and add the subscription there instead of repeatedly opening the link in your browser.

Import the client configuration on your device

Sign in to the user dashboard, open the client downloads section, and choose your device’s operating system. You’ll need to be signed in to get the client and subscription; download access depends on your active plan. This page doesn’t provide direct installer links. The steps below cover common subscription-based proxy clients. Use the app and configuration format specified in the dashboard.

Windows: Add a remote subscription

Choose a Windows client in the dashboard, then follow the instructions to install and open it. Remote configurations are usually added in a section called “Configuration,” “Subscription,” or “Profiles.” Open the relevant section and choose to add a remote configuration or import from a link. Paste in the subscription link you copied. Give it a name you’ll recognize, save it, then update or download the configuration.

When you see route groups or a list of regions, the client has loaded the configuration. Select it as the active configuration before going to the connection page. Some Windows clients require system proxy to be enabled or VPN mode to be turned on before app traffic uses the selected route. Seeing a list of routes doesn’t mean you’re connected. Select the configuration first, then follow the verification steps below.

macOS: Import and select the active configuration

Choose a macOS client in the dashboard. After installing it, open the main window or menu bar app and look for subscription management, configuration management, or remote configuration. If you use one-click import, your browser may ask to open the client. Confirm that it’s the correct app before allowing it. To import manually, paste the subscription link into the remote configuration URL field, save it, and update the configuration.

After importing, check that the new configuration is selected. A client icon in the menu bar only means the app is running; it doesn’t confirm that the system proxy is enabled. If the client asks to add a network configuration or grant permissions, verify the app’s source and follow the dashboard instructions to authorize it. Keep the client running, choose a region from the route list, and connect.

Android: Import from a link and allow the VPN connection

On your Android device, get a client from the dashboard and install it. Find “Configuration,” “Subscription Management,” or the add option, then choose import from a link. Paste the full subscription URL, save it, and wait for the update to finish. Select the new configuration. If the app needs network access to load the subscription, make sure your device has a working internet connection before importing again.

When you connect, Android may show a system prompt asking to set up a VPN connection. Check which app is requesting access, then allow it as prompted. After connecting, check the status bar or VPN settings to confirm the connection. If it drops when the screen turns off, check the system’s battery and background activity restrictions for the client and adjust them as needed. Settings vary by device; see the Help Center for troubleshooting. You don’t need to change every system setting during initial setup.

iOS: Get a subscription-based client as directed in the dashboard

On your iPhone or iPad, open the iOS client instructions in the dashboard. Follow the link to get the recommended app from the App Store and check the app’s own requirements. Don’t use Windows, macOS, or Android installer files on iOS. Open the app and find its subscription, configuration, or server management section. Choose to add a subscription or import from a link, then paste the subscription URL provided for that client in the dashboard.

Save and update the subscription, then select the imported configuration and a route before connecting. The first time iOS asks to add a VPN configuration, check the app and confirm as prompted. You may also need to approve a system permission. If the subscription won’t update, check that the link was copied in full, the configuration format is supported, and your internet connection is working. Don’t delete all your configurations and start over right away.

Connect to a route and verify it works

Return to the client’s routes page. Confirm that the subscription has updated and that regions or route groups are visible. For your first connection, choose a route that meets the target service’s regional requirements, then turn on the connection. Don’t run multiple proxy or VPN clients at the same time, as their system proxy settings may conflict. If the client offers different routing modes, start with the one recommended in the dashboard and change it only after you understand what it does.

Once the client shows a successful connection, open the website or app you want to use. Check that it loads, you can sign in, and the feature you need works. A VPN icon in the system status bar or a “Connected” message in the client confirms that a connection has been established, but doesn’t prove that every app is using the route as expected. Test the target app on the same device rather than relying on the client screen alone.

For streaming services and AI tools, also check the platform’s regional rules and account eligibility. Your network’s exit location and route region are only part of the picture; your account region, plan benefits, and the platform’s own checks can also affect availability. Loading the homepage doesn’t guarantee that all content will play or that your account meets the requirements. For more on these differences, read the complete guide to streaming access. This tutorial focuses on confirming that your connection and basic access work.

If it doesn’t work, first check the account overview to confirm that your subscription is active and you have data available. Then make sure the correct configuration is selected in the client. Check whether system proxy or VPN permissions are enabled and whether another network tool is running at the same time. Once you’ve checked these basics, try another route that meets the target region’s requirements and test the app again. Change one thing at a time so you can tell what fixed the issue.

If you’re still having trouble, note your device’s operating system, client name, selected region, error message, and the step where the problem occurred. Start with the connection and troubleshooting guide. For further help, submit these details through a support ticket in the user dashboard, and hide your subscription link and password. A clear description of an issue you can reproduce is more helpful than repeatedly reinstalling the client.

After verifying your connection, keep the working configuration. To add another device later, sign in to the dashboard, get the client, and import the subscription. After changing your plan or routes, update the subscription in the client and check the selected configuration and connection status.
